Within this article, we examine the sociological approach developed by Stéphane Beaud and Michel Pialoux in their book Retour sur la condition ouvrière. Enquête aux usines Peugeot de Sochaux-Montbéliard [1999]. We confront it with the anthropology of subjective singularities, that is an anthropology proposing a new analytical framework to study contemporary forms of thinking.
