Fatherhood and Sexuality in the Construction of the SelfFatherhood and homosexuality have for a long time been considered contradictory experiences. The recent visibility of same-sex families begins to produce a positive combination of these two realities. Based on the analysis of the stories of gay fathers who had their children in a heterosexual union, this article discusses the relationship between sexual orientation and desire for fatherhood.
