Nostalgia can often be read in the works of hip-hop artists. This movement is marked by the presence of a large number of artists of migrant origin expressing nostalgia for the native country, or for the parents’ country. While each situation is singular, the consequences of the migration contexts are the same for all. This is actually what the artists need to express at some time in their life or artistic career.
