Spatial and identity resistance. Building a dam in an Arab-Kurdish city

This article endeavors to study how the construction of a dam structures the daily life of Hasankeyf’s inhabitants and what practices they adopt to oppose it. The paper emphasizes the relationship with identity and space and analyzes how their articulation contributes to the emergence of various forms of resistance, whose antagonisms and tensions dominate the daily life of the city.
