Like in other places in the contemporary world, the diffusion of personal development techniques is taking place in Turkey, the majority of which are inspired by Far-East body-oriented practices, and generally imported from Europe or the USA. This paper shows how and by whom they are practiced and how they integrate into the changing social and religious scenes.
