The Case of Amateur Naturalists in England

In England, the social construction of the biodiversity decline as a floral and animal life threat takes an interesting form, due to the scale and the importance of the social mobilisation and to the association between endangered species and the future of the English countryside. Particulary concerned, the amateur naturalists, very keen on observing the familiar flora and fauna ot their local surroundings, enrol in wildlife surveillance by recording and monitoring species for conservationist organisations, as a specific answer to threat, fear and affliction.
