Regulating eating. Habits at the end of childhood
By Louis Mathiot
English
Through an ethnographic study, this article examines the change in eating habits at the end of childhood. The changes observed for young people aged between nine and twelve years are characterized by a desire to differentiate themselves from younger children, but they also respond to other logics related to self-control, body and health, which evolve differently according to gender.
