Within the Italian Occitanism, one activist stands out among others, a true occitan pasionaria, who devoted forty years of her life to her ideal. Her exceptionality is shaped by a complex relationship between recognition and denial, permanence and renewal and appears as an interactional and contextual process that will be analyzed in this article.
